Monthly Activities

The purpose of the monthly activities is to bring immigrant families and children together in Örkelljunga with other Swedish families in order to have more social contact.

New activities about 2012 is coming soon.

9th of February 2012 Thursday Afgan Evening in Strandhem (Smålandsvägen 48) at 18.30. There will be exhibition and Snack. Everybody is nicely wellcome.

Experience exchange 1

We have realized our volonteer meeting with interesting topics. There was a guest from Bjuv. Fredrik Johansson from Mozaik. He talked about Mozaik and their recent situation. We are going to work together with different activities. Moreover, we spoke about need assesment. What do we need in order to handle with our target groups in activity groups? Most of us emphasized on information about immigrant families and children's culture and past. If we became sensetive to their live and situation so activities can work better. Lastly, we have disscussed about participants who will travel to Turkey in may. Boel, Birgitta, Rickard, Josefine and Neco will be participants and represent Svenska Kyrkan in Turkey in May 2012.

Internationen 2

The main aim of the group is to provide a place for teenagers and young people (14-22) who can enjoy their time.

The program will follow with dinner, activities and dances.

Internationen 2 will take place 14th of January at 18.00 in Örkelljunga Strandhem (Smålandsvägen 48)
